At DramEd, we use drama, storytelling and movement to support children’s learning – particularly for children who may struggle with communication, confidence, or emotional regulation in the classroom or setting.
We work with nurseries and schools to create inclusive, engaging spaces where children can explore the world around them, build emotional literacy, and develop essential communication skills through play.
Our sessions support children to understand and explore learning through story, play and lived experience!

Creativity isn’t a luxury — it’s a cornerstone of how children learn, think, and grow. Yet access to quality performing arts in early years and primary education is shrinking. That’s where DramEd makes the difference.
The Challenge
Children in more deprived areas are half as likely to experience structured arts or drama sessions outside of school.
→ DramEd bridges that gap by bringing high-quality performing arts directly into nurseries and primary classrooms, making creativity accessible to every child.Arts participation can lead to around 3 extra months of progress in literacy and numeracy (Education Endowment Foundation).
→ We design every DramEd session to strengthen core learning through drama — helping children grasp ideas faster and remember them longer.Ofsted’s 2024 “Best Start in Life” report highlights Expressive Arts and Design as key to giving children “breadth and richness” in learning.
